Mackncheeze Music Podcast #34

Action Buddie was a considerable part of the Seattle Music scene in the 1990s and early 2000s. The band has reformed and will appear at the Central Saloon on Friday, October 21st.

Action Buddie has roots in Rock, Rap, Funk, and Hip Hop. When I had the pleasure of seeing them perform, I felt the emotional impact of a Gil Scott-Heron show: that’s just me.
The impetus for Action Buddie’s reforming originated from David Portnow, owner of Pig Records. Having produced over 500 albums, one of David’s favorite bands is Action Buddie.

Bass player, Dan Manier, has previously interviewed with Mackncheeze Music with his alternate Rock project, Knuckles.
