Chandler Thomas and Michel (Mikey) Boyer approached me with Bridges Burned. Needing a production platform for the song, the gents enlisted my help.

Chandler wrote the lyrics. And with hours of collaboration, he and Mikey came up with the basic tune. Mikey and I hashed out the rhythm tracks.

After that, I laid down drum tracks and we rebuilt the idea from those sessions. After the drums were laid down, Mikey laid down bass and guitar tracks. We later added Joe Doria on Hammond and Rhodes. The tune is classic old school R n B.
